Last weekend was the First Annual Spirit Weavers Gathering created by 

Daughter of the Sun

. Seventy five women gathered for four days of yoga, prayer, weaving, dreaming, dancing, camping, and singing songs from the heart. Jackie Weber sustained our bodies and souls with amazing raw vegan food. We also were blessed to have an elder at the gathering, Sweet Medicine. She shared songs, wisdom, and incredible stories. This gathering was a powerful celebration of women coming together to reconnect with spirit, self, and the earth. Visit the Spirit Weavers

In 2009, Jimmy Nelson began his journey traveling to 31 different tribes around the world. His goal was to experience their rituals and discover how the rest of the world is threatening to change their way of life forever. Before They Pass Away is a photographic masterpiece that documents a fast disappearing world.
