✧ Tis the Season for Magical Threads ✧

Prism of Threads will be at A Current Affair this Saturday hosted by Alia Penner, Jena Malone, and HonestlyWTF! It's truly the best vintage show in Los Angeles, and what an honor it was to style this look on Kelley Ash modeled below with Scout LA!

Next weekend I'll be at the Echo Park Craft Fair where I will be debuting my latest collaboration with Naked Eye Beauty & URTHEN along with some new original dresses!

Indigo Forest soap + Mandala soap dish handcrafted by Caitlin Deane in the Mojave desert near Joshua Tree, CA. She finds inspiration in forms found in nature, the landscape around her home, and the colors of the southwest desert. Caitlin imbues every piece with the highest of loving intention.

Guardian Mist is inspired by healing plants that have been used for centuries to establish sacred space. Your body is a temple, and this blend is the offering. White Sage purifies and rejuvenates the skin, Rose nourishes and protects, and Lavender calms the skin with its anti-inflammatory properties. Copal and Palo Santo are native to Mexico and South America and have been used by shamans to purify and cleanse.

Divine Goddess Soap, organic essential oils of Ylang Ylang, Rosewood and Lavender, naturally colored with Rose Clay. Topped with healing flowers and herbs.

Detoxifying dead sea salt, aloe, sea kelp and eucalyptus essential oil bath salts + red stoneware cork jar in power turquoise.

⪼✺⪻ Our Autumnal Feast ⪼✺⪻

Autumn's magic was upon us! It was time to summon friends for a meal to celebrate the season. A soap and scent collaboration with Naked Eye Beauty was in the works, and ready for a sneak peek. My husband, Stephen, set his culinary imagination upon a feast of fall flavors. Desa Fasiska, designer and ceramicist, had begun opening her home for creative workshops and events, and invited us to have our gathering at her beautiful A frame.

We knew that our dear sister Amy had to be present, blessing the meal and the land with a deep connection to Spirit. To capture the essence, we asked Lani Trock, who paints the most poetic pictures with her camera, and also forages beautiful plant life. Here are some favorite moments from the event!

✨Spirit Weavers Gathering 2015✨

"Spirit Weavers is a celebration of cultures past which represented basic human skills to ensure the survival of the body and the soul. Fermenting foods, weaving and dying fabrics, creating ceremony, sharing tea, and making plant medicines- singing songs, together as a community- these were the common knowledge ways and  part of the simple pleasures of a life lived in balance and in harmony with nature. Let us gather and share our skills in remembrance of the beauty path and an honoring of our Ancestors."

I'm grateful i've been able to attend the past two gatherings where I experienced sisterhood, ceremony, skillshare, and songs from the heart! Teacher + work trade applications are now available at www.spiritweavergathering.com. Beautiful new website design by Tehya Shea!
